Leonardo Caraang is a Filipino lawyer. He can also speak English, Tagalog and Ilocano.
He was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2018. He is in private practice practising primarily real estate law where he had solid experience processing real estate files. He had assisted a real estate lawyer in Mississauga for almost 5 years (2011 to 2016) processing real estate transactions from file opening to completion including title and writ searches, drafting and registering transfers and mortgages on Teraview and Conveyancer.
He passed the Philippine bar exam in 1998. He had practised labour and employment law for 8 years. He had represented a labour federation, unions and workers in grievance proceedings and collective bargaining negotiations and had appeared before labour authorities either for compulsory or voluntary arbitration.
He worked as a legislative staff in the Senate of the Philippines, Pasay City from 2001 to 2006. He had reviewed, analyzed and conducted research on legislations, bills and resolutions.
